Universe: your adversarial ally

Why is it that’s when you try to make positive moves forward, the world at large tries to hold you back? I know the universe as a whole loves to challenge us individuals but really? What’s your beef universe? The world doesn’t go all cataclysmic when you try to make changes. It sets off a chain of uncanny events that intertwine themselves into your daily life until progress is effectively halted.

Its enough to make you scream “screw you universe!” But if you do, the universe simply hands you a pack of condoms and screams back “Strap up!”. Now you are presented with two options. Take It peacefully or ride this roller coaster until the wheels fall off. Mind you, it may seem that the universe is out to get you but I don’t believe that. I think it’s out to push you beyond your limits, stretch your psyche to breaking point, and morph you into a better you. All the stress and every single test is all to improve you in the long run. “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger” is an honest phrase. Live by it, embrace it.

Bring it Universe! I’m ready to take you on full force! So should you all!

Shit My Wife Says Vol. 2

This wonderfully gorgeous woman I get to call my wife honestly makes me think. I have an understanding of het on the molecular level. But sometimes those particles get accelerated and I end up saying “What. The. F**K?” AND we end up laughing beyond belief.

1. Why won’t you lett me get the butt?
My wife and I need a new bed. It now causes us minute or major aches and pains depending on how we sleep. Today was a major pain day for her. She had to take pain medication to pacify her body. My wife can’t handle pain medication. She will say outlandish things that just makes you want to hold her til she falls asleep. Today was no different. Randomly as we lay she just says “Why don’t you let me get the butt?” then starts giggling like a toddler. Before I could even say WTF? She asked me to tell her what she said because she had no clue. Now we’re both laughing like fools. Seriously? How do drugs just induce that kind of thought process lol?

We all live this thing called life/
She is one harsh B!+©h/
Such a volatile mixture of success, lessons and strife/

She takes her time to set you up/
Making it easy to knock you down/
Confusing you will the philosophy of a half empty or full cup/

Once you get a grasp on things you smile/
Life lets you think you that you won/
But give it a minute life will strike back with style/

It’s like this B!+©h has a frigid vendetta/
She needs you to stumble before you stand/
So she shot you point blank with Beretta/

Damn life is one harsh B!+©h/
One that we all fight to live/
She teaches us the difference of wealth and rich/

The harsh B!+©h is our first gift, greatest curse/
Because no matter how harsh we crave to live her/
So be grateful because it could be a lot worse/
