A handout for pet owners: Understanding Ebola

A lot of people are growing concerned with Ebola and it reaching our borders. Arming yourselves with knowledge is the best thing to do. Being a Veterinary technician I encounter people who are concerned about their pets also being carriers or transmitting it, so I found this handout to help educate. Follow the link below to read the handout that the CDC put out.

Lost in Loss

Lost in Loss

To say I’m sorry is a tired song/
To not say anything is just wrong/
God has called another Angel home/
To take a seat near his throne/
We can’t help but to question this/
The pain we feel as our loved ones enter eternal bliss/
My God why/
Why is it that our loved ones die/
I know it’s selfish to ask them to stay/
But my heart would hold less pain that way/
I know it’s all his master plan/
I know my falling tears don’t make me less of a man/
I just have to remember there is no more pain/
Even though the loss drives me insane/
Her soul is one I will always miss/
But I will have to be strong to get through this/
