Why debunk Black Lives Matter?

Why is it that people are posting “debunking” videos or going out of their way to insist “black loves matter” is wrong…. These facts about other races being killed are public record and accessible to anyone, that’s not the point of it all. We know which demographic has more deaths… We also know what demographic makes up a larger portion of the population do the number of those killed would be proportionately larger than those of black races. Black lives matter isn’t a rally cry to say “Hey, I’m black and my life matters, not yours.” It’s a yell out to the world that Black lives haven’t mattered and we want you to see that it does just as much as yours! Black lives matter doesn’t need to be debunked. It needs to be taken just as seriously as all other lives. The loss of life for senseless reasons is the loss of sentience. Even animals don’t kill for the sake of killing, it’s for a reason.

So yes I will post Black lives matter and not feel ashamed or like I’m saying something against other races. I will continue to denounce the debunking of “black lives matter” and question the motives of those who feel the need to post such things to these social media vehicles.
I was raised by a family who went through the happiness and hell of the 60’s 70’s and so on. They taught me to see character not color, even though they lived in a time that could have easily molded them into racial hate mongers. I implore you to do the same and not get bogged down by the words Black Lives Matter.
Love you all,

Spectres and phantoms

image

The inner city sky is set ablaze by the firefly orbs held within/
Quiet strangled the streets/
Only faint echoes of automotive ghosts wail in the distance/
One can smell it, the sky will cry soon/
That’s when the spectre will hunt/
Cloaked in the blue Laws, he prowls/
Shining his light on all that is fowl/
Ready strike with ferocity in the night/
Full of bravado, pride, and yes fright/
Scared of what he may or may not have to do is the spectre’s life/
But his prey, the phantom, has his own strife/
He must straddle the thin line of evil and good/
Fill the flame-riddled streets with bacteria, or live peacefully misunderstood/
Some of the phantoms will spread their outbreak, sending the Spectre into a frenzy/
His fear will cause all phantoms to wear the guise of am enemy/
The misunderstood will lose their innocence/
The spectre will lose his benevolence/
And the bacteria now takes prevalence in the once peaceful inner city streets/
No longer can the phantom walk them and feel safe/
No longer can the spectre feel capable without force/
No longer quiet are our streets under the flames/
Soon the sky will cry as we deflect the fallen names/
Oh what I wouldn’t give to just have those skies set ablaze again/
One without the spectres and phantoms living in sin.

Riot!

There was no indictment
Now we must seek enlightenment/
The fact that justice wasn’t served is grotesque/
So yes, you should protest!/
Revel in your unrelenting rage!/
But let positive change take center stage/
Let’s educate and vote, not burn Walgreens/
That’s destroying people’s livelihoods, ending their means/
Change the world with your voice/
This should be the obvious choice/
The riots give the corrupt just cause/
Now they’ll feel like they can choke, just cause/
Don’t fuel their need to follow you for no reason/
A self mandate to execute you for their meaning of treason/
With more senseless destruction how can we tell who is right?/
Education, and positive action will take away their might!/
A loud, destructive riot, is a quiet meek voice./
Grow louder by joint offices and influence the choice./
Become law enforcement, engage in things political/
Stop letting life make you invisible./
Don’t give those boys a worthless death/
Work for change with your dying breath/
It is time for a regime change/
It’s not impossible, with work It’s in range/

Work hard for change, rioting is pointless. It only harms the community you wish to represent. Change your world, don’t destroy it.

The Rain

image

Stress is like a torrential acid rain/
Pain
Little gain
Blood stain
On your state of tranquility/
Robbing you of your calming ability/
The rain continues to pour/
Damping your wings stopping your Soar/
Leaving you mentally sore/
Stress mounts up and begins to flood/
Each drop hits you with a hard thud/
The rain soaks the Earth birthing a life draining mud/
But every storm will end/
Your peaceful mind state will mend/
Fortify your mind to yet again defend/
Your mind from the rain…

Power, Corruption, Cruelty

First, the poem titled Corrupt.

Corrupt
The corrupt create causes of cruelty/
That are heinous hurtful and harmful/
To your serenity, sanctuary, and soul/
But why? Why must they hold this control?/
To the core it is a primal need/
This dark tendencies are a beast ready to feed/
True evil is a man corrupting his seed/
Changing the flower to a parasitic weed/
Using children to spread your wrath/
It’s a disgust unlike anything hell hath/
The destruction of happy homes from the inside out/
The breakage of hearts, letting the love pour out/
An adult with selfish behavior/
Creating the image of a false saviour/
No rhyme or reason why the evil exists/
But said no matter if detained or not, it will persist/
The corrupt create causes of cruelty…….

Now, the discussion about the subject matter at hand based on a personal experience. Power, it has the ability to corrupt. Once a person has it they feel the need to be in complete and utter control of the world around them. When they lose their grip on that power they turn cruel if they aren’t already. It is something that is sad and frightening once it goes that route.

A man using underhanded tricks to maintain his power is already wrong. But a man using his kids as a show of power to destroy a good thing just because he has no power over it anymore is just evil. Evil in its purest form to me is the manipulation of children’s innocence to do wrong.

I watched a young child ripped from a happy home that they didn’t want to leave because their sibling was manipulated to believe that someone was doing them wrong. Even though said person has done nothing but sacrifice to ensure their survival and happiness. The younger sibling has been torn between sibling loyalty and finding their own path in life. The older has lost their own identity to their fathers will/need to control all life around him at the cost of everyone’s joy. A heinous act that was a plan that was in the works for months that came to a head like a tactical nuke going off at a dynamite factory. They only reason any of the heartache and pain they went through happened is because that man lost all power, so he exuded cruelty to make everyone around him just as miserable.

I know power doesn’t always corrupt and lead to cruelty, but when it does no one is happy in the end. That’s just my observation of the world around me.

So does power equal cruelty? What’s your opinion.
